| Description on Commons | This document gives a historical background of the evolution of the Akai script from the earliest points till the period of the preparation of the document by Kambai Akau in 2019, hoping to submit to the Nigerian Copyright Commission. However, the author doesn't think it is necessary anymore and wishes it to be made public for all to use without any copyright issues whatsoever, like the Latin, Greek, Coptic, Vai, and any other script known to humankind, for the diversification of knowledge. NB: The contents of this document do not contain the complete information on this script. It lacks a few additions to the script, like the diacritic for vowel elongation represented by a dot beneath the consonant sound. For a summarized version containing the final additions to this script, please see this file. |
